The Thinking Path

Art in the Park Festival, East Boston, MA

Mary Ellen Welch Greenway | September 6 – October 11, 2025

My work, "Parkside Memories" will be part of this year's Art in the Park Festival at the East Boston Greenway. The Thinking Path is an outdoor group exhibition along the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway in East Boston. It is part of the annual Art in the Park festival and features works that explore walking as a creative, reflective, and socially engaged act.

Organizers and Curator (By The Friends of the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway)

The Thinking Path is organized by The Friends of the Mary Ellen Welch Greenway, a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to the care, programming, and improvement of the Greenway; and The Trustees: One Waterfront Initiative, which activates Boston’s public spaces through accessible and community-based arts programming.

The exhibition is curated by Anna Yeroshenko, an East Boston–based artist and independent

curator whose work explores the intersections of architecture, photography, and space. Her

practice highlights overlooked urban environments and reimagines them through constructed photographic forms, reflecting on perception, possibility, and transformation. As curator of The Thinking Path, Anna brings a deep interest in walking as both a perceptual and spatial act—one that resonates with her broader inquiry into how we experience, move through, and reshape the built environment.
