The many jump-scares I have had from cockroaches crawling up from under the sink when it rains in San Antonio inspired me to create a series of drawings of them. Many people fear the critters, and I hope by creating a larger than life model viewers, including myself, will have a different perspective, losing some of the fear associated with the unknown and inspects.
